Midas Fine Art started with a blank wall.
We had just moved into a new place outside Portland, Oregon. The furniture was in, the boxes were unpacked, but the living room still felt unfinished. Every time we went looking for a painting to hang above the sofa, we hit the same two walls: mass-market prints that looked flat and forgettable, or gallery pieces with price tags that made no sense for a family home.
We knew there had to be something in between. Paintings with real texture and depth, in sizes that actually fit a modern home, at prices that don't require a second thought. When we couldn't find a store that got that balance right, we decided to build one.
What We Believe
Art shouldn't be intimidating. You don't need to know the difference between impasto and glazing to know when a piece makes you stop and look twice. We believe the right painting can change how a room feels, whether that's a calm abstract in soft neutrals for a bedroom, a bold burst of color for an entryway, or a minimalist canvas that pulls a whole living room together.
That is why our collection focuses on styles people genuinely live with: modern abstracts, textured minimalist pieces, botanicals, and landscapes in palettes designed to work with real interiors, not just showrooms.
Made for Your Space
Every painting in our store is made to order after you purchase it, in the size and color you choose at checkout. Nothing sits in storage waiting for a buyer. Your piece is produced for your order and shipped directly to your door with free, tracked delivery anywhere in the United States.
How Our Business Works
Midas Fine Art is an online-only store. We choose and curate every design in our collection, and each painting is produced by hand by our independent production partner once your order is placed. Your painting is then shipped directly from our production partner to your door. We do not hold stock or operate a retail showroom.
Our own team handles everything else: order support, shipping updates, returns and refunds. If you have a question at any stage, you deal directly with us.
